Scheduled Contact Hours and Timetable

Class timetables may be from 7am to 10pm Monday to Sunday, subject to availability.


Additionally, students are expected to spend at least 10 hours of individual study per week on research, learning activities and assessment activities utilising the facilities and resources available at YES College.

Entry Requirements

Age Requirements
YES College has a requirement that all students must be over 18 years of age at the commencement of course.


Academic Requirements

For direct entry into this program, candidates must be able to demonstrate:

· Diploma level qualification (AQF level 5) or higher in a related field such as BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management or other relevant qualification at AQF level 5 or higher; or

· Substantial leadership and management employment experience (more than two years) where learning is used to build organisational capability

English Language Requirements
International students (from countries where English is not the first language) are expected to have a minimum English Language standard and are required to have one of the following prior to enrolling in this qualification:

You should qualify in ANY ONE (1) of the following:
· At least 50% completion of any AQF Certificate III or higher qualification
· Achieved an IELTS band score of 5.5
· Achieved an IELTS band score of 5.0 plus must have completed Upper intermediate ELICOS (At least 10 weeks)
· Achieved an IELTS score of 4.5 plus must have completed Upper intermediate ELICOS (At least 20 weeks)
· Successfully completed at least 38 weeks of ELICOS study in Australia
· Successfully completed a Yes College English language test

Pathways

· Master of Business Administration 

(subject to Provider's course entry requirements)


· Master of Human Resources Management 

(subject to Provider's course entry requirements)


· Employment as a RTO Manager, RTO Director or Career Development Manager.

This course is for people desiring to work as Leaders and Managers within the Training, Human Resources Management or Education Administration industries. People in these positions apply highly specialised knowledge and skills in the field of organisational learning and capability development. Individuals in these roles generate and evaluate complex ideas, as well as initiate, design and execute major learning and development functions within an organisation.

This course has 8 units of competency, which includes 3 core units and 5 elective units. Learners must complete all 8 units to complete this course.

Employment Pathways

Graduates can seek employment working within the Training, Human Resources Management and Education Administration industries. Graduates with no prior work experience can expect to enter the workforce in positions such as Administration Officer, Education Administration Coordinator or other related positions.
