Additionally, students are expected to spend at least 10 hours of individual study per week on research, learning activities and assessment activities utilising the facilities and resources available at YES College.

This course reflects the role of individuals working as developing and emerging leaders and managers in a range of enterprise and industry contexts. People in these positions assume responsibility for their own performance, and are likely to provide leadership, guidance and support to others. They may also have some responsibility for organising and monitoring the output of teams.

This course has 12 units of competency, which includes 5 core units and 7 elective units. Learners must complete all 12 units to complete this course.

Graduates may also seek employment in frontline management or supervisory positions in small, medium or large enterprises, in a variety of industries, in the private sector. Graduates with no employment experience should expect to enter the industry in positions such as Assistant or other related business support positions. Graduates with relevant employment experience could obtain positions such as Coordinator, Supervisor or Team Leader.
