Scheduled Contact Hours and Timetable

20 hours per week for 40 weeks.


Class timetables may be from 7am to 10pm Monday to Sunday, subject to availability.


Additionally, students are expected to spend at least 10 hours of individual study per week on research, learning activities and assessment activities utilising the facilities and resources available at YES College.

This course is for people desiring to work in leadership and management positions in a broad range of industries. People in leadership and management positions display initiative and judgement in planning, organising, implementing and monitoring their own workload and the workload of others. They use communication skills to support individuals and teams to meet organisational or enterprise requirements.

This course has 12 units of competency, which includes 6 core units and 6 elective units. Learners must complete all 12 units to complete this course.

Graduates may also seek employment working in a small, medium or large enterprise, in a variety of industries, in the private sector. Graduates with no prior work experience should expect to enter the industry in positions such as Administration Officer, Administration Coordinator or other related positions. Graduates with substantial experience in the industry could obtain positions such as Office Manager, Operations Manager or Business Development Manager.
