This course is for people desiring to work as Administrators or Operations Officers in small, medium or large organisations, in a broad range of industries within the private sector. People in these positions use well-developed skills and a broad knowledge base to apply solutions to a defined range of unpredictable problems and analyse information from a variety of sources. They may provide leadership and guidance to others with some limited responsibility for the output of others.

This course has 12 units of competency, which includes 6 core units and 6 elective units. Learners must complete all 12 units to complete this course.

Graduates may also seek employment in the business operational functions of a small, medium or large enterprise, in a variety of industries, in the private sector. Graduates with no employment experience should expect to enter the industry in positions such as an Assistant or other related support positions. Graduates with relevant experience in the industry could obtain positions such as Administrator or Operations Officer.
