Academic Requirements
For direct entry into this program, candidates must be able to demonstrate:
· Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions).
Or
· Have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise.

English Language Requirements
International students (from countries where English is not the first language) are expected to have a minimum English Language standard and are required to have one of the following prior to enrolling in this qualification:
· At least 50% completion of any AQF Certificate III or higher qualification
· Achieved an IELTS band score of 5.5
· Achieved an IELTS band score of 5.0 plus must have completed Upper intermediate ELICOS (At least 10 weeks)
· Achieved an IELTS score of 4.5 plus must have completed Upper intermediate ELICOS (At least 20 weeks)
· Successfully completed at least 38 weeks of ELICOS study in Australia
· Successfully completed a Yes College English language test
This course is for people desiring to work or develop their skills in a wide range of senior administrative and/or general management positions within small, medium or large organisations in a broad range of industries. Individuals in these roles carry out complex tasks in a specialist field of expertise. They may undertake technical research and analysis, and will often contribute to setting the strategic direction for a work area.
This course has 10 units of competency, which includes 5 core units and 5 elective units. Learners must complete all 10 units to complete this course.

Graduates may also choose to seek entry into an undergraduate degree such as a Bachelor of Business at an Australian Higher Education Provider (subject to the Higher Education Provider’s course entry requirements). Coupled with substantial employment experience (more than two years) graduates of this course may be eligible to gain entry into a number of post-graduate courses such as a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration, Graduate Certificate in Management or Master of Business Administration.
Employment Pathways
