Academic Requirements
For direct entry into this program, candidates must be able to demonstrate:
· Have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions).
or
· Have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise.

English Language Requirements
International students (from countries where English is not the first language) are expected to have a minimum English Language standard and are required to have one of the following prior to enrolling in this qualification:
· At least 50% completion of any AQF Certificate III or higher qualification
· Achieved an IELTS band score of 5.5
· Achieved an IELTS band score of 5.0 plus must have completed Upper intermediate ELICOS (At least 10 weeks)
· Achieved an IELTS score of 4.5 plus must have completed Upper intermediate ELICOS (At least 20 weeks)
· Successfully completed at least 38 weeks of ELICOS study in Australia
· Successfully completed a Yes College English language test
This course is for people desiring to work in senior leadership and management positions in a broad range of industries. People in senior leadership and management positions use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters. They use cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources, transfer their knowledge to others and respond to complex problems.
This course has 10 units of competency, which includes 5 core units and 5 elective units. Learners must complete all 10 units to complete this course.

Graduates may also choose to seek entry into an undergraduate degree such as a Bachelor of Business at an Australian Higher Education Provider (subject to the Higher Education Provider’s course entry requirements). Coupled with substantial leadership and management experience (more than two years) graduates of this course may be eligible to gain entry into a number of post-graduate courses such as a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration, Graduate Certificate in Management or Master of Business Administration.
Employment Pathways
Graduates may also seek employment working in an organisation, in a variety of industries, in the private sector.
